PCM Magazine Questions
What rifles are PCM magazines compatible with?
PCM magazines are designed for .22LR AR-pattern rifles that accept S&W 15-22 pattern magazines such as:
- S&W M&P 15-22
- Rifles built around the CMMG ARC system
- Kriss Defiance
If you are unsure if your rifle is compatible, please contact us to discuss.
We are currently developing PCM magazines for other calibres and rifle platforms. Make sure to follow our social channels to stay up to date with progress.
Do the magazines require a break-in period?
Like many 3D printed working parts, a short break-in period is normal as the spring settles and internal surfaces polish during use. Consistency typically improves after the first few uses.
Can the magazines be used in cold or wet conditions?
PCM magazines are made from reinforced engineering polymer designed to perform in demanding range conditions including rain, mud and low temperatures.
Why isn’t bolt hold open working in my rifle?
Bolt hold open functionality depends on the rifle setup. PCM magazines support bolt hold open when used with compatible systems such as the Catch-22 or Better-Mag adapter. If you are still experiencing issues when using those systems, you may want to consider using a lighter bolt paddle spring in your rifle.
What capacity are the magazines?
Capacity varies depending on the model. Please refer to the specific product page for exact capacity information.
What materials are the magazines made from?
PCM magazines are manufactured using glass reinforced nylon polymer designed for strength, durability, and resistance to wear under repeated use. They are worlds apart from typical PLA printed parts.
Are replacement parts available?
Yes. The PCM magazine system is designed to be modular and serviceable, meaning worn components can be replaced without needing to discard the entire magazine.
Can the magazines be disassembled?
Yes. PCM magazines are designed so that internal components can be accessed for cleaning or replacement if required.
Can the magazines be used with speed loaders?
Many users successfully use popular .22LR magazine speed loaders. Compatibility may vary depending on the loader design.
Ordering & Stock
Why do products sometimes sell out?
Many Range 23 products are produced in small batches to maintain quality control and testing standards. All of our prints are focused around quality - that comes at the expense of faster print times. When demand exceeds supply, items may temporarily go out of stock.
When will items restock?
We print around the clock to keep up with stock demands. Restocks usually occur every 2 weeks. Following our social media pages is the best way to stay informed about restock announcements.
Can I pre-order products?
At present we only sell items that are currently in stock.
